Pact

Partly verified

Pact is on the right track: its factories are Fair Trade certified, with premiums paid to workers, and GOTS certifies its supply chain. What's missing is publishing where its products are made.

Last researched 9 October 2026

Heading in the right direction. Workers are paid enough to live on, or the company is certified as working towards it, and there are no serious warning signs. One piece is still unproven. What this grade means

Why this grade

  • Cotton is linked to forced labour (Xinjiang, Turkmenistan) and child labour in several growing regions. (partly offset by certification or direct sourcing)
  • Fair Trade certified factory: Fair Trade USA factory standard: audited conditions plus a premium paid to workers. Does not require a full living wage.
  • GOTS organic: Organic textile standard with social criteria; audits are announced and living wage is not required.

Pact makes its clothing from GOTS-certified organic cotton, mostly in India, and much of its range is sewn in Fair Trade USA certified factories, which pay workers a premium but do not guarantee a living wage. Not every product carries the Fair Trade label: some socks and its towels are made in Türkiye. Pact does not publish a supplier list, a supplier code of conduct, a sustainability report or a living wage commitment, and no confirmed labour abuses have been reported.
