Research notes Mammut has been a Fair Wear member since 2008 and was rated Good, with a score of 63, in its 2026 Brand Performance Check covering 2025; it was a Leader in earlier years. About three quarters of production is in Vietnam, followed by Bangladesh, and it publishes its full factory list. Fair Wear found most sewing workers earn a living wage estimate at 13 suppliers making up about half of its buying, but there is no funded plan to reach living wages elsewhere. In July 2026 Chinese investor CPE agreed to buy the company.
