Research notes Duralex makes all its glassware in its own factory at La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin near Orléans, France, under French labour law, and says 99% of its raw materials come from France. After two years as an employee cooperative it went into receivership in June 2026, and on 14 October 2026 the Orléans court chose Cédric Meston's holding Tomé to take it over, keeping 155 of about 220 jobs at the site. It publishes no supplier list, modern slavery statement or wage information, and no abuses of factory workers have been reported.
