Fairtrade cotton

The cotton was grown by Fairtrade farmers, but the factory that made the clothes isn't covered.

  • Supportive: it improves the score but isn't proof on its own

What it is

Fairtrade cotton means the cotton farmers received the Fairtrade minimum price and premium. It doesn't cover the spinning, weaving or sewing that turns cotton into clothes.
