Certified B Corp
The whole company is assessed on how it treats workers, communities and the environment. Until 2025 it needed 80 points overall; companies certifying from 2026 must meet minimum requirements in every impact area.
How it counts towards a grade
- Supportive: it counts in its favour but isn't proof on its own
What it is
B Corp is a certification for whole companies. It scores everything from the environment to how the company is run. How a company treats its own staff and the workers who make its products is one part of the score.

What it checks
- How the company treats its own employees
- Some questions about the workers who make its products
- A legal commitment to consider people and the planet, not just profit
What it doesn't
- A company can be certified with a weak score for its suppliers' workers if it scores well elsewhere, so it counts in its favour but isn't proof
